See Albany’s 10 Least Snowy Winters Of All Time
It has been a slow winter when it comes to snow. How little snow would make this winter one of our least snowy winters on record in Albany?
At this point of the season, there is still potential for a ton of snow. That said, it seems like the odds are in favor of this winter ending up being below average for total snowfall for the season. To date, the National Weather Service says 22.6 inches of snow has fallen in Albany. On average Albany usually gets 55 inches of snow. As we head into the home stretch of winter, we are not even halfway to that average.
When this winter is all said and done, how little snow would we need to get for it to be a record year for lack of snow?
