The definition of "trend" is "a general direction in which something is developing or changing." Sometimes a trend is good such as when your favorite baseball team is trending up in the standings. In the retail world the latest trend is upsetting.

Earlier this month one retail chain, that has been in business across the country since the 1970's, announced they will be closing all of their locations. This will close all 10 New York State locations including one at Crossgates Mall in Albany.

Unfortunately you can add rue21 to this list. According to Fox Business, all rue21 locations will close due to an estimated debt of $194 million dollars. This is the third time the brand has filled for bankruptcy. Here are the New York locations that will close.
