Green Day Unleash Trailer and Reveal Cover Artwork for Upcoming Album ‘¡Uno!’
A brief 30 second video trailer that includes the cover artwork for Green Day‘s upcoming album ‘¡Uno!’ has been unveiled (watch below). The first in a trilogy, ‘¡Uno!’ is set to be released Sept. 25. The second album ‘¡Dos!’ will follow on Nov. 13, with ‘¡Tré!’ wrapping things up on Jan. 15, 2013.
Fozzy Unveil Release Date and Cover Art for New Album ‘Sin and Bones’
Fozzy‘s fifth studio album ‘Sin and Bones’ will be released Aug. 14 via their new label, Century Media Records. The band is fronted by wrestler and ‘Dancing With the Stars’ contestant Chris Jericho, who also hosted the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards earlier this week.
Woman Taken Into Custody in France for Theft of Axl Rose’s Jewelry
The mystery of Axl Rose‘s $200,000 in stolen jewelry may have been solved. As previously reported, three gold and diamond necklaces disappeared during a private party after a June 5 Guns N’ Roses concert in Paris. Rose was described as being furious about the theft, which is understandable when someone swipes 200 grand worth of your stuff.
The Darkness Unveil ‘Every Inch of You’ Lyric Video and Track List for ‘Hot Cakes’
With anticipation building for their first album since 2005, the Darkness have debuted the lyric video for the song ‘Every Inch of You’ from their upcoming ‘Hot Cakes’ disc (due Aug. 21). The first single and video from the album, ‘Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us’ was released earlier this year. In addition, the full track list for ‘Hot Cakes’ has also been released.
Slash Documentary ‘The Cat in the Hat’ To Be Released on Blu-ray / DVD in August
Slash is busy making music and producing movies, and now will also be the subject of an upcoming documentary. A two disc, 131 minute documentary ‘Slash – The Cat In The Hat: The Story So Far’ will be released on Blu-ray / DVD on Aug. 21.

Rockers Remember Ronnie James Dio via Twitter
Today (May 16) is the second anniversary of the passing of the legendary Ronnie James Dio. He had one of the best singing voices in metal, or any other genre. He fronted bands including Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Dio and Heaven and Hell. After battling stomach cancer, Dio died in 2010 at the age of 67. His passing left a huge void in the music industry, as he was one of the most talented and beloved figures in metal. Two years after Dio's death, many of his contemporaries in the music world such as Tim “Ripper Owens, David Draiman (Disturbed), Brian Fair (Shadows Fall), Alex Skolnick (Testament), Johnny Solinger (Skid Row) and many others paid tribute to Ronnie via Twitter.
