A recent article in BuzzFeed claims that Albany is the 6th ugliest city in America. They compared it to a "Greyhound Bus Station".

Now, I'm not going to say that Albany is a tropical paradise where the sun shines every day and everything is rainbows and cupcakes, but Albany and the entire Capital Region is a really beautiful place to live and work.

The BuzzFeed article was based on a comment by Reddit user u/teddyjr32378 when they asked: "What is the ugliest city you have ever visited?". Number one on the list is Bakersfield, California. I assume it's because of the pollution shown in the picture. Then at number six on the list, there's our state capital called ugly for all to see. Well, I for one won't stand for it.

Albany is a beautiful city with so much to offer and so many beautiful places within it. Sure, we have our problems, but what big city doesn't?

So, just in case you've forgotten how great our city is, here's a gallery of our beautiful city.
