MASSIVE Corn Chip Recall Impacts New York State

There is a major recall in New York State that could impact your shopping list if you are getting ready to have some snacks.

There is little doubt that chips and salsa is the ultimate snack. Whether it is for the Big Game, or taco night, or a good old fashioned case of the munchies, chips and salsa always "slaps" as the kids say.

As we get ready to hit the weekend, there is a new alert that you should be aware of before you hit the snack chip aisle at your favorite grocery store!

If you are like me, when you open a bag of corn chips, there is little chance that they last long. In fact, the snack becomes more like an entire meal and you can say goodbye to the entire bag!

According to multiple reports, there is a recall notice that has been posted for a specific type of Tostitos chip.

Tostitos Recall

In a statement from the FDA, it was noted that "Frito-Lay today issued a recall of a limited number of 13 oz. bags of Tostitos Cantina Traditional Yellow Corn Tortilla Chips that could include nacho cheese tortilla chips, and therefore may contain undeclared milk. Those with an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the recalled product".
