LeBron James Defends Buffalo Bills’ Star After Players Say He’s ‘Overrated’

Stop me if you've heard this before: there are people in the football world who believe Josh Allen is overrated.

Allen, the quarterback of the Buffalo Bills, is becoming a very polarizing player in the league. When he's at his best, few quarterbacks are more fun to watch play the game. His first six seasons in the league have been nothing short of historic:

On the negative side, however, Allen has had issues with turnovers during his career. He has also played for some very talented football teams, but has yet to play in a Super Bowl.

He's been called overrated by "experts" in the past, and it happened again on Wednesday. A total of 103 players from 25 teams were interviewed for an ESPN poll, and out of that group, Allen received the most votes in the category of most "overrated" quarterback.

Thousands of people came to Allen's defense, but one person's defense caught everybody by surprise:

Allen, meanwhile, didn't seem to care one bit about the "overrated" label. He tweeted the following message on Wednesday:
