New York Environmental Cocktail Party Is Coming To The Capital Region
There is no Planet B. That's the phrase used by environmental activists, meant to show us that we only have one planet in the universe that we know can sustain life, and if we ruin this one, it's over for the human race.

New York has always been at the forefront of environmental activism, and the state's largest environmental organization is bringing that sentiment to the Capital Region.

Who is NYLCV?
Otherwise known as the New York League of Conservation Voters, the NYLCV is the only state environmental organization. Their mission? To fight for clean water, clean air, renewable energy, and open spaces.
Don't get them wrong though, they're not just tree-huggers, they're a staunch political organization that uses their influence to enact policy changes that will help New York's natural environment flourish through grassroots organizing, political lobbying, and NYLCV-funded education campaigns.
Capital Region Cocktail Party
Now, the NYLCV is bringing their message to Albany. On March 18th from 6 to 8 p.m., they will host the Capital Region Cocktail Party at the Corning Tower Observation Deck. Over 100 elected officials, environmental activists, and business leaders will be in attendance, looking for a way to push our environment forward.

The event will honor the University of Albany, and have Commissioner of the NY State Department on Environmental Conservation, Amanda Lefton as a guest speaker. Tickets start at $250 for a solo admission, not affiliated with any organization. You can also add additional contributions to the cause when you buy your ticket through the NYLCV website.
