Man Suffers Serious Injury at Lebanon Valley Speedway
A terrifying video shows a man getting injured at Lebanon Valley Speedway on Wednesday night after he appeared to walk into a moving car. The video shows the car slamming into his kneecaps and sending him flying into the windshield.
All of us here at GNA wish the young man a speedy recovery.
The incident, caught on video, occurred at Lebanon Valley Speedway, a high-banked dirt oval raceway located about 30 minutes southeast of Albany, during their "Eve of Destruction" night.

"What Was He Thinking?"
Those in attendance who witnessed the incident wondered what he was thinking, as it appeared that, without warning, he took off and started to jog toward the moving car, which catapulted him onto the hood and ultimately onto the windshield.
The force from the impact sent him flying onto the dirt, where he lay motionless as first responders rushed to his aid.
Family members have taken to social media, and they say his name is Noah Chaffin and that he fractured his T12 vertebrae, adding that the "road to recovery will involve extensive medical treatments, physical therapy, and surgical intervention."
The video went viral on social media after it was shared on Facebook by Shawn Bergdoll.

GoFundMe Started for Injured Man
Chaffin's older sibling, Jarrett, created a GoFundMe on his behalf, stating that they hope to raise $20,000 to help cover medical bills, therapy costs, and any necessary adjustments to his home to make it more accessible.
Here's, in part, what they wrote:
Dear Friends and Family,
I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit. My little brother, Noah, recently suffered a serious injury when he fractured his T12 vertebrae. This unexpected accident has changed his life in an instant, and he now faces a long and challenging road to recovery.
At the time this article was published, nearly $3,000 had been raised through GoFundMe efforts. All of us here at GNA wish him a speedy recovery.
