Police in Upstate New York say a 16-year-old Amsterdam girl has been missing since Monday, and hope that someone may be able to step forward with information about her whereabouts.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reported on Wednesday that they are currently attempting to locate Jarelys A. Reyes, a 16-year-old female missing from Amsterdam, NY. The Sheriff's Office stated that she was last seen on Monday, April 21st.

Police did not provide any specific information about where she was last seen or where she may be heading, but they did say that Jarelys "is believed to be with a male companion and may still be in the local area."
