As the countdown to Memorial Day Weekend continues, a popular Saratoga County ice cream stand is making its final preparations to open in time for the unofficial start to summer.

While other local ice cream favorites like Farmer's Daughters in Saratoga Springs and Marha's in Lake George have been open for about 2 months already, another local shop has been putting the finishing touches on an expansion as they ready for the 2025 season.

Hayner's Ice Cream & Country Store Announces Opening Day

For fans of Hayner's Ice Cream in Halfmoon, the wait for its 2025 opening will come to an end this week! The popular ice cream stand on Route 236 announced on Facebook this week it will open for the season on Wednesday, May 21st, from 1 to 9 pm.

Hayner's is known for their great soft serve, shakes, sundaes, and more. Plus, they offer fruit smoothies, acai bowls, pies, and ice cream pies! Along with the great menu, they offer up some stunning views in rural Halfmoon while you eat that sweet treat.

If you are a fan of and follow Hayner's, you know they have been working on an expansion that pushed its seasonal opening back a bit.
