Wanted in Upstate New York; Son’s Mother Says He’s ‘Dangerous!’

State Police in New York are asking for the public to help in their search for a wanted man with a history of violence and trespassing in Upstate New York.

On social media, a woman claiming to be the mother of the wanted man's son urged the State Police to find this "dangerous" man as quickly as they could.

According to a report from the New York State Police, the State Police in Massena is asking for the public's assistance in locating Marcus A. Shatraw, age 34, of Massena, NY.

Shatraw is wanted out of the Town of Stockholm for assault 3rd and criminal trespass 2nd.

• Shatraw is approximately 5’8 tall and weighs 160 lbs.
• He has white and brown hair and blue eyes.

Son's Mother Claims He's Dangerous

On Facebook, a woman named Emily Elizabeth, who claimed to be Shatraw's son's mother, implored the New York State Police to find him.

"Hope you find him soon! He's my son's father, and he's DANGEROUS!" she wrote on the NYSP Facebook post, which already has 1000s of interactions after just a few hours.

Arrested For Threatening with a Knife

Shatraw's volatile past has gotten him arrested before.

Back in May of 2023, he was arrested following a traffic altercation that turned violent, according to a report from MYNBC5.com. 

According to the report, Shatraw became agitated by another driver and then passed him, only to stop his car in front so he could get out and confront the other male.

Police say that Shatraw got out of his vehicle, approached the victim, and put a knife to the man's throat, then made him get out of the car so he could strike the victim in the face.
