Juan Hernandez from Uniondale is the unofficial NY Lottery scratch-off king, after claiming his second $10 million dollar prize in 3 years!  How?

Even if I knew the exact odds of winning a 5,10, or 100 million dollar jackpot, I'm not sure I'd be able to put into context just how astronomically stacked against you the odds really are.

What are the chances?

I'd imagine the chances of winning are roughly the same as taking an empty swimming pool and filling it with all blue marbles, except one.  Throw one red marble in there just for fun.

Now, blindfold yourself and jump into the swimming pool filled with a billion marbles.  Without using your eyes, reach around and pull one marble to the surface.   If it's red, you win.  If not, try again - 400 million more times.

That's how I picture it anyway and it's a worthwhile comparison to make because a New York man recently did the equivalent of blindly finding the one red marble in a sea of blue ones, not once, but TWICE.

It doesn't even seem possible, but according to the New York Lottery, it's as real as the lump sum deposited into his bank account.

But according to the New York Lottery, Juan Hernandez from Uniondale is the unofficial NY Lottery scratch-off king, after claiming his second $10 million dollar prize while playing New York Lottery’s $10,000,000 Deluxe scratch-off game.

According to the agency, Hernandez hit for $10M back in 2019 when he scratched his way to the top prize of a $350,000,000 Cash Spectacular scratch-off ticket.

So, how does Hernandez plan to spend his freshly won cash once he piles it on top of his previously amassed fortune?  That's anybody's guess.

Hernandez told the NY Lottery, "I'm still trying to spend the ten million I won in '19!"
