It may be hard to believe, but something more important than Kim Kardashian showing off her assets on a magazine cover happened today.

In a journey that started in 2004, a washing machine sized space craft has landed on a comet which is a first for any space program, at least here on Earth. The Times Union is reporting that the Philae traveled 311 million miles at 41,000 mph in 10 years.

Now I've been looking for someone equating this to a flea landing on a duck landing on a basketball during game 5 of the playoffs, but have yet to find such an analogy, so we'll just go with that one.
