Skillet is an American Christian Rock band that was formed in Memphis, Tennessee in 1996. The band consists of lead vocalist, John Cooper and wife Korey Cooper, along with guitarist Seth Morrison and drummer, Jen Ledger.  The band has released eight albums, Collide and Comatose both receiving Grammy nominations.

Skillet has toured with Ron Luce and Teen Mania Ministries in 2007. They then joined Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace and Seether on the first half of their tour.  Then Skillet headlined their own Comatose tour in 2008. The band has appeared at the Night of Joy Christian Rock Festival, Awakening Music Festival, and performed at the Super Dome for the ELCA National Youth Gathering.  They have headlined at two Rock the River tours, run by Billy Graham.  In January 2010, Skillet toured with Puddle of Mud and Shinedown through the East Coast. In May 2011, Skillet headlined Beach Blast 2011 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The band performed with Toby Mac, Lecrae, Disciple, Anthem Lights, and Jamie Grace.
