Best Pizza

Two pizzerias in Upstate New York have just been named among the 50 best in the nation.

Ask anyone in the Capital Region where to get the best pizza and have a great meal and they would mention this legendary restaurant in Watervliet. It is the end of an amazing run, a fifty-year run to be exact. The owners said it was time.

There are so many great pizzerias in the Capital Region, and to celebrate National Pizza Day these are the best of the best.

Pizza is pizza. Even when it is bad, it's good. But these ones are great and great!

I am ashamed to say another year has gone by and that marks another year my taste buds haven't had a slice of this pizza.

With the rich Italian heritage in the Capital Region, it should be no shock we have some pretty good pizza. These two in Schenectady are among the best in Upstate New York.

Now, this leaves me asking one huge question. Is New York City counted? Either way we have one town with a lot of awesome pizza!

New Yorker's know a couple of things pretty well and pizza is one of them. Luckily the Capital Region has two of the best places for pie in the state.
