The Great White North has provided far more than its fair share of excellent rock.

His scheduled U.S. and European stops follow concerts scattered from Asia and Africa to South America.

Adams also recalled how he learned not to try to match Cocker when it came to drinking.

"It's not tough to get him inspired," Adams says of the otherwise reclusive producer. "He loves music so much."

But as he told UCR, he's had plenty of great experiences and loves the process of "working with your heroes."

A deluxe version of the record will include acoustic versions of eight of Adams' new songs.

It's one of two tracks Canadian cowrote for 'Creatures of the Night' before he made it big.

One of Canada's most prolific composers has lent his songwriting talent to dozens of fellow musicians over the years.

"The aim of this song is to provoke thought and perhaps even encourage governments to sit down and talk peace," he says.
