Mark those calendars, Kings of Leon fans. Bassist Jared Followill has shared a big piece of news: The band's sixth album, which is the follow up to 'Come Around Sundown,' should be out this September.
Earlier this week, Bottle Rock 2013 revealed a handful of acts to look forward to at this year’s festival, set to take place from May 10-12 in Napa Valley, Calif. The full lineup for the three-day event has since been announced, and big additions include Kings of Leon and Dirty Projectors.
Kings of Leon have been talking with potential producers and plan to hit the studio some time soon to begin working on the as-yet-untitled follow-up to their 2010 album, ‘Come Around Sundown.’
Kings of Leon are awesome. They remind me alot of The Black Keys. They were rocking the charts the past couple of years. So tonight I wanna rock out to some Kings of Leon that's why they are my crush.
Kings of Leon have cancelled their US Tour which includes a stop at SPAC on August 20th. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase. Tickets purchased online or via phones will be automatically refunded.
It’ll be good to see KOL in this setting to actually have a chance to sort of get to know them. Truthfully, I really enjoy some of their music, but have always had sour taste in my mouth about them as there has always been some sort of arrogant vibe that comes off.
I don’t really know how to feel about KOL. They definitely have some catchy tunes. And hey, who doesn’t love “Sex on Fire”? But from watching them in concert last year, they also send off some strange arrogance. Apparently it rubs off on their fans too
