The Altamont Fair in Altamont New York has officially opened and 2012 marks the 119th year of representing Albany, Schenectady and Greene Counties. Some things never change like the fried dough, the animal shows, the racing pigs but some things are new, including a circus and new thrill rides like 'Speed' and 'Vertigo'.
