Nipper

This statue is a doggone legend in the Capital Region, and this is the story behind it.

We don't have the pyramids, we don't have Stonehenge, we don't have a giant statue of Zeus, but we do have a dog and an egg.

Albany is known for its architecture, commerce, culture, institutions of higher education, and rich history. But living here does not mean we really appreciate it or even have looked at it other than the Capital of New York.

The question, "What will become of Nipper?" was almost answered with, "He's running away to Long Island."

I think we need new roadside attractions.

Who needs to travel across the country when you can travel across the Capital Region for roadside attractions!  It's about the time of year where winter needs to end, I start to go stir crazy, and I start to get wanderlust wishing I was traveling somewhere away from the remaining snow, mud, fog, and rain...

Would you be sad to see Nipper go?
