It looks like there will be roundabouts built in a busy stretch of roadway in downtown Troy. Officials say there will finally be a gateway into downtown Troy that is safe for cyclists, pedestrians, and commuters.
New York State has allotted nearly seventeen million dollars toward the repaving of many roadways in and around the Capital Region. But there is one group who thinks this isn't nearly enough.
You may have noticed that more roundabouts are coming to the area, with the newest one at Route 9W and Feaura Bush Road. The city decided to build this roundabout because traffic continues to increase on 9W. It connects to 787, Albany, and the Thruway.
