Terminator, the epic sci-fi movie series, depicts the Robotic Apocalypse known as "Judgement Day" where the machines rise up and overthrow the human race to start a war of man vs. it's creation. Though just a movie, it does raise some concerns of "what if" and now the first seed has been laid of the takeover.

The all-robot band Compressorhead makes those Chuck E. Cheese animatrons look like a bunch of clowns!

At the University of Belgrade, a team of researchers are getting us closer and closer to building the Terminator.

At first glance, the young lady in this video seems to be taking part in some sort of scientific study as she sits patiently next to a guy at a desk. Suddenly it becomes creepily apparent she isn’t a young lady at all — or even a human for that matter. She’s entirely robotic.

The next Mars rover, named Curiosity, which isn't exactly the best name in my opinion but it does fit, is scheduled for a late launch this year and should reach the surface of Mars by August 2012. It has a large robot arm, a "frickin'" laser and is about the size of a small car. And it's all powered by 4.8 kgs of Plutonium-238. Wired Magazine has photos of the rover being assembled. Read
