Have you ever wondered about how safe roundabouts really are? The New York State Department of Transportation has released some new information on the safety of them.

You may have noticed that more roundabouts are coming to the area, with the newest one at Route 9W and Feaura Bush Road. The city decided to build this roundabout because traffic continues to increase on 9W. It connects to 787, Albany, and the Thruway.

If you have ever traveled in Clifton Park to go to a show at Upstate Concert Hall or to bring the kids to Clifton Common sports fields, you know that particular area is very congested. Construction has begun to alleviate the problem.

Most people hate traffic circles. If you are also an avid concert goer and hate traffic circles, you really are going to dislike this.

Go to Upstate Concert Hall all the time? Well, this may just make your travels there easier in congested traffic hours.

Rexford Bridge is a known slow spot for traffic. Many parents picking their kids up in Niskayuna and many people trying to avoid the Northway. Now it will be a little smoother for travel.

Well, the downside is that you may have to do a bit of re-routing this weekend. On the upside at least some of the construction that has been going on should be complete.

Drive down Round Lake Road in Malta and you'll be sure hit one, if not several, roundabouts. The road is lines with them with possibly more to come and some residents aren't too happy.
