Now this is a great way to kick off what could be our last beautiful weekend of the year! Live music from The Blisterz and Catastrophe Me at Savanah’s on Pearl St. in Albany.
One of the band’s guitarists Jason gave me a buzz the other day and said that band pretty much plays most of what we play here at Q103. So if you dig The Q, you should love Jet Crash Billy!
It’s called ‘Q103's Friday Night Live’ and it happens every week at Savannah's on Pearl St. in Albany. I’ve seen many tribute bands throughout the years, but amazingly have never seen a Stones tribute. I’m extra psyched to see this one as it features local rock ‘n’ roll hero Tommy Love on the vocals.
Find out tonight at Savannah’s on Pearl St. in Albany starting at 10pm. This is it man. It’s the finals for our ‘Play For The Stage’ competition. One of these 3 bands is going to play at SPAC next Friday and play with Godsmack, Five Finger Death Punch and more.
Last week’s round one was great with three excellent bands performing and Pipebomb moving on to the finals. I expect to see/hear three more quality bands this evening as Potter’s Field, Tamerlane and The Hearing Aides battle it out for their chance to move on to the finals and hopefully open up for Q103’s Q-Ruption.
3 local bands compete tonight for the chance to open up for Q103’s Q-Ruption at SPAC. If you’re friends with any of these bands, come down and show some love.
If you're looking forward to Q103's Q-Ruption, you might want to catch Faceless (a Godsmack tribute) tonight at Savannah’s. It’s a special edition of Q103’s Late Night Happy Hour.
Being in radio, I’ve been given many cd’s throughout the years. And often times I get people that shoot me an email telling me I have to check out this band of young kids. Or they come up to me and tell me how great their kid, nephew or whatever is...
It’s been a tough week weather wise, and although there are still some clouds floating around out there with a chance of rain, at least it’s mild out. So, if you’re looking to get out tonight, here are a couple ideas. And one of them could make you feel good about yourself...
I caught these guys Saturday night at Savanah’s. I had seen them before and knew that they had a sort of old school ‘motorcycle rock’ sound that I enjoyed. Somewhere between ‘Born to be Wild’ and some old Black Sabbath type stuff...
