Full disclosure, for the purpose of this list, Upstate New York is every where in NY besides NYC. Surprisingly there is quite a few spots on this list that are just a short drive from the Capital Region.

Love it or hate it, there is plenty to do in the Capital Region. Here are a few that you need to.

Welp, winter is officially gone, an after-thought at this point. Soon, people will start complaining that it's too hot as summer's mayhem eventually becomes over bearing and sweaty. Watch this when you feel like littering social media with thermometer pics and hatred towards warmth.

It's official- VACATION!  Let me tell you, I feel like I've needed to take a week long break for about 10 months but whatev, my ass is out like a light.  One thing though. I spent so much time feeling the excitement of not coming to work that I completely forgot about activities and such. We had an awesome weekend didn't we? Mid 60's on Saturday, with temps in the 70's yesterday. What did you do? I'm assuming a ton of people were at Thacher Park, walking trails, enjoying the scenery and hopefully staying out of trouble?
