I had the best time last night at Northern Lights! I finally got to meet and see Frank Palangi perform, as he opened up for Trapt. Candlelight Red and The Lost Sons also performed. The day started with two of the bands visiting the station, and ended with Trapt on stage until almost midnight.

Four-piece rock band The Lost Sons hail from Stuyvesant, New York and are quickly rising in popularity. They have played at most of the local venues and have performed with a number of well-known bands such as Pop Evil, Saving Abel, Cold and Egypt Central. I have seen them a few times and they put on a good show. They will be opening for Everclear this Friday at Northern Lights with Bulletproof Me

He’s got a show tonight at Jillian’s with Taddy Porter and The Lost Sons, but if you’d like to get a sample of what you’ll get here’s a couple of songs he played for us at the Q103 studios today.

I’ve been a fan of Jonathan Tyler from the first note that I heard him sing in ‘Gypsy Woman’ here on Q103. I immediately asked my boss if we had a copy of the Cd. And now he’s coming by for an exclusive ‘In Studio’ performance this Thursday. On top of that, I’ll be giving out tickets for the show

This past Friday, the boys from COLD were in the studio for an on-air interview before their show at Northern Lights with bands The Lost Sons, Oceans Divide, Kopek and Egypt Central. The night was filled with laughs, pictures, awesome music and fans rocking out to their favorite bands.

I never really knew too much about Cold except that ‘Stupid Girl’ song. But you know what? They’ve got some other tunes, and they’re a good bunch of guys with a great story.
