In preparation of the winter storm that will dump large amounts of snow over the Capital Region Thursday in to Friday, many towns and cities have declared Snow Emergencies.

Looks like we'll be starting the New Year out white. A winter storm is gearing up to hit the Capital Region and because of that, the National Weather Service has issued a WINTER STORM WARNING for the entire Q103 listening area.

A winter storm is upon us and that means it's time to hunker down in the warmth of your house with supplies. Most people think of the basics like water, canned food, etc. Me? Well, I don't think like most others.

Brace for impact Capital Region because another heavy hitting winter system is right on top of us.  We could see over 15" of the white stuff by the end of it.
