A Giant Game Of Clue Is Coming To Albany Saturday

Don’t be surprised if you see a bunch of people dressed up like Sherlock Holmes running around Albany looking for clues. Coming up Saturday, August 24^th there is a citywide game that’s kinda like a giant game of the board game Clue.

Officially it’s called the Albany, NY Detective Day from Cluedupp Games. You can buy tickets and get more information HERE.

Detective Day involves a bunch of teams with up to eight “Detectives” combing the city for clues of a crime. Think of it like a giant scavenger hunt, with clues and locations you have to visit around the city. You'll also use an app downloaded to your smartphone to guide you through your adventurer.

I have been involved in one of these about 6 months ago and it was a blast. The teams usually dress up in clothes of the 20’s and 30’s and just have a great time.

Plus there are prizes to win for several categories like.

• Fastest team
• Best fancy dress (Sneaky Finders / 1920’s inspired)
• Best team picture
• Best team name
• Best little detective (kids prize)
• Best K-9 detective (dogs prize)
