After close to two months of voting by fans and being judged on musicianship, originality, ability to draw, songwriting, and vocal ability, three local unsigned bands have been selected to perform at the Ernie Ball Battle Of The Bands Friday August 24th at Savannahs in downtown Albany. The winning band will open Q-Ruption, find out who they are.

Earlier this year, Bobby Hegyes, who played Juan Epstein on Welcome Back Kotter, passed away. Now, another member of the Sweathogs is gone.  Ron Palillo who played Arnold Horshack has died.  He was 63.
