Casting call for Robert De Niro's 'The Past Goes Fast' documentary. This is your chance to portray Robert De Niro Sr., at various ages, as a background actor this November in New York City area.
Grant Wilfly Casting is casting actors for background work in 'The Past Goes Fast', which will take an intimate look at De Niro's father’s life through his art, journals and photographs. De Niro and artist JR released a short version of this project in 2022, now the pair are working on this full-length documentary.

Young Robert De Niro Sr. - November 3, 2025 and November 4, 2025 - 1940's De Niro Sr. so casting is looking for a 20-39-year-old white male of European dissent. Must be okay working around atmospheric smoke. Men must be okay getting a 1940s haircut if needed Here are some of the other characteristics needed:
- Brown or dark colored hair
- No wool allergies
- No facial piercings, or ear gauges
- No visible tattoos, even in short sleeves
- Clean shaven on the shoot date.
- No modern haircuts, no shaved heads, no shaved sides, no skin fades or dynamic edging.
