Blink-182 Makes Night Extra Special For Upstate New York Fan
I have had my share of memorable concert moments but this one right here is one that not even I can top. In all my years of going to hundreds of shows I've never been fortunate enough to have the band give me not one, but two items.
On Saturday September 6, 2025 Blink-182 brought their tour to Bethel Woods, New York. That is one of the most epic places to have a show especially considering the history of Bethel, NY being the birthplace of Woodstock. It has already had its share of epic music moments, but now this young fan can add this to her list.
During their set Mark Hoppus noticed a young fan and her father sitting in the crowd and decided to use some "good karma" to spread a little more joy by giving the fan a set of drumsticks from Travis Barker. He wouldn't be done there, he would also pass on a Bluey toy to the girl.
Bluey Girl Is Born
Millie might think I’m getting less cool by the day, but thanks to @markhoppus she’ll always have the memory of sitting front row at a @blink182 show and becoming the “Bluey girl” at @bethelwoodscenter
This young fan was just seven years old, and maybe they won't remember this as they get older, but the parents sure will. Now they will always have that memory of not only sitting front row and a huge rock concert, but also being handed a Bluey toy by Mark Hoppus himself. That's one epis night for a second grader who was definitely up way past her bed time.
Well worth it, though.
