Capital Region Drive-In To Open For Season Tomorrow

A mainstay and yearly tradition for many people in the Capital Region, will you be going on opening day this year?

The drive-in we can be attending for what is to hopefully be another successful year of business is Jacks Drive-In. Right on the Wynantskill-Troy city line you can get some amazing cheese burgers slathered with caramelized onions for two seasons. I don't get there as often every year as I would like to but I make it a point at least a few times a year to make my way out there.

The memories I share of going here with my mom and dad on a warm summers evening are some I will never forget. I always remember as a child being fascinated by the fact there was a little wooden prong in the french fries. Now I realize that is probably due to people getting the ketchup all over them.

None the less, Jacks Drive-In is one of the best drive-in restaurants in the Capital Region in my opinion. Tell us a memory you have of this eatery?
