Colonie Center Is Losing Another Store

Oh great now where am I going to buy my noise canceling headphones? Oh yeah, online.....and that's pretty much sums up why Bose is closing their retail store in Colonie Center.

They aren't the only store though. Bose is closing 119 Bose stores all over North America, Europe, Japan, and Australia. The stores will all be closing over the next couple of months.

Why? Well it's simple. People tend to shop online and that has hurt their "brick and mortar" store business. It's not that people aren't buying Bose products, they just aren't buying them in stores according to an article in Business Insider.

Bose isn’t saying how many employees will be affected by the closures, but the company is offering outplacement assistance and severance.
