Would you buy one? Apparently quite a few people are opting for these brightly colored Christmas trees this year.

I think they are kinda cool. They remind me of a silver metallic Christmas Tree we had for a few years. It's an unexpected twist on the traditional tree.

I know what you're thinking. Does the paint just flake off? No, the tree is "painted" with a special food grade safe dye that actually stains the trees in those bright colors.

If you're interested in buying one of these colored trees you better hurry becuase they are pretty limited. You can find them at a couple of tree farms in the Upstate.

I tried to get my wife to let me buy this tree a couple years ago.....it was a no go.
