This has been a crazy January. Record high temperatures, tons of rain, sunshine....it's been awesome. You know what they say, "All good things must come to an end." Well, that end is Friday.

Forecasters and an article in www.nyup.com are predicting that winter will return to the Capital Region this weekend. Starting with temps in the 20's and a rain-snow mix possibly beginning Friday.

It looks like the rest of the weekend will be a mixed bag of cold temps, freezing rain, snow and wind. Yep, sounds like Old Man Winter is back. Actually, forecasters are saying that several storms are coming together and that's what's bringing the snow to Upstate and Central New York.

As of right now it's too early to say exactly how much snow will be dumped on the Capital Region from these storms, but the consensus is that it will be time to break out the snowblower and plows.
