Exciting Netflix Casting Call: Be the Next Star in Upstate New York!

Knowing that so many television shows and series, as well as feature films, are shot in New York State is pretty exciting. What is even more exciting is the prospect of being in one of these projects.

This is a casting call for a Netflix series called "LANDLINE". Producers are looking for a variety of individuals to fill roles as background actors. Are you an Upstate actor or just someone from the area that always wanted to be part of the film industry? This could be for you.

According to a post on the Hudson Valley Film Commission Actors and Crew Facebook page, there is an active casting call for background actors for the Netflix series 'LANDLINE' which will be shooting in Sullivan County this month.

Producers are searching for both Screen Actors Guild members and non-union actors to fill background roles. Filming will take place Tuesday April 8th, Thursday April 10th and Friday April 11th in Monticello, NY.

Film makers are hoping to find actors to portray a variety of roles. Mention that you are an Upstate New York local. Here are some of the parts available:

• April 8th - casino patron, casino staff and restaurant staff.
