Former WWE Superstar Appearing in the Capital Region Thursday
A former WWE wrestling superstar is coming to the Capital Region.
Tenille Dashwood (formerly known as Emma) will be making an appearance at Heroes Hideout, a comic book and toy store in Rensselaer Thursday (Feb. 1) from 5:30pm-8pm. Dashowood is from Australia and started training for wrestling at the age of 13 and would go on to train at Canada's Storm Wrestling Academy (run by wrestler Lance Storm) in 2008 and 2011. She wrestled on the independent circuit under the name Tenille Tayla before signing to WWE. Some of her wrestling inspirations include Stone Cold Steve Austin, Trish Stratus and Lita. Emma was released for her WWE contract in Oct. 2017. She plans to wrestle for several promotions on the independent circuit starting in Feb.
