Gov’t Mule Celebrates Dark Side of the Moon, Do’s and Don’t For SPAC Show
Just over 50 years ago Pink Floyd released the iconic album "Dark Side of the Moon" featuring "Money", "Time" and "Us and Them" to name a few. The album has sold more than 45 million copies and spent 736 weeks on the Billboard Top 200 charts. That's 14 years on the charts!
With the this year marking the 50th Anniversary of such a legendary album, a few artists are paying tribute while on tour. Tonight, at the Broadview Stage at Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC), Gov't Mule celebrates with their 'Dark Side of the Mule' Tour. Here's everything you need to know, before you go.
Friday's Gov't Mule show at SPAC is expected to feature 2 sets. The first set will be comprised of original Gov't Mule tunes. After a brief intermission, the second set will be dedicated to all Pink Floyd covers. The band will perform more than 20 songs, from Dark Side and other Pink Floyd albums, with the majority being Floyd tunes.
The performance at SPAC will be an evening with Gov't Mule, which means there is no opening act. Lawn tickets are not available for this show. Here is everything you need to know, before you go.
