Concerts have returned and, despite the rain, fans filled Charles R. Wood Park in Lake George Thursday Night to hear guitarist Warren Haynes and he did not disappoint. As a matter of fact the early arrivals waiting in line to get a good spot inside were treated to a later than usual sound check performance that just made the anticipation that much stronger.

Warren Haynes, formerly of the Allman Brothers Band, riffed through a 2 and a half hour set of original solo material as well as a cover of Stevie Ray Vaughan's 'Pride & Joy' and 'Ain't Wastin' Time No More' by the Allman Brothers Band. Haynes capped off the night with arguably his most popular composition 'Soulshine', which he was made famous as an Allman Brothers song.

Although many haven't been to a concert in 16 months, the experience Thursday night was like greeting a very familiar friend. The picturesque venue offered everything from great sight lines, sound and lights and of course food, drink and fans.
