Guns N’ Roses Add 15 New Dates to North American Tour
Guns N' Roses will keep their Not in This Lifetime tour rolling with more than a dozen freshly announced North American dates that will keep the band on the road through the fall.
In addition to one extra summer date, which promises attendees a "larger than life" experience in Little Rock, Ark., the tour's latest North American leg adds a pair of shows each in New York and Los Angeles, with a smattering of extra stops in between. The new shows, which you can check out below, pick up Oct. 8 in Philadelphia and are currently scheduled to conclude Nov. 25 at L.A.'s Forum.
Citi cardmembers will have first dibs on the tickets via a special presale that starts May 30 at 10AM local time and runs through June 2. On June 1, AT&T customers will have their own early access through another presale, which also concludes on June 2. Sales open to the general public through Live Nation on June 3.
The hugely successful tour, which brought guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan back into the fold, has played to sold out crowds and rave reviews for months — and as guitarist Richard Fortus recently assured Hot Press, the band is having just as much fun as the audience. "This tour has exceeded anything that I’ve previously been a part of," Fortus enthused. "The band is tighter than it’s ever been and everyone is extremely focused and at the top of their game. It’s been an honor to be a part of it and something that I will always be very proud of."
Particularly enjoyable for Fortus is the experience of playing alongside Slash, who he referred to as a "kindred spirit" whose style allows for constant reinvention. "The greatest thing about him is that he’s constantly stretching out. He’s trying new things," he added. "Every night, he plays differently and is always reaching for new heights. He’s very inspiring to play with."
