Yikes, might want to check your bike before you put them completely away for winter!

Harley Davidson is recalling quite a few bikes across the country due to an issue issue with their clutches. It has been reported that the clutches are leaking fluids which is causing them to disengage from the gears. The problem then causes  the bikes to get stuck in gear which can lead to riders losing control of their bikes and crashing and that is not good for anyone.

There is a long list of bikes that are affected including 2017 and 2018

  • Police Road King, Road King, Road King Special
  • Electra Glide Ultra Classic
  • Ultra Limited, Ultra Limited Low, Ultra Limited Shrine
  • Police Electra Glide
  • Street Glide, Street Glide Special
  • Road Glide Ultra, Road Glide, Road Glide Special
  • Street Glide, Street Glide Special
  • Road Glide Ultra, Road Glide, Road Glide Special
  • Freewheeler

The recall begins Monday, November 5th and the dealerships will fix the issue at no cost.

Seeing as winter is starting to set in here in the Capital Region you might want to make sure you get that repair taken care of before you put your bike away for winter and forget about it come spring.
