Have you ever wanted to be behind the plate calling the strikes and outs? Well, here is your chance to throw on the full gear, the facemask, the uniform, the pads, and get behind the plate as an umpire. The Capital District Baseball Association and Capital District Softball Association are looking for new members for the 2022 season. You can be an umpire for all levels of baseball and softball being played in the Capital District area, including High School.

How about a softball umpire? The Capital District Softball Umpires Association trains softball umpires through classroom training and field mechanics of the game. Softball umpires for the Capital District will officiate games for high schools and colleges throughout Albany, Saratoga, Glens Falls, and Hudson. CDSUA accepts new members every year. Mandatory classes for new umpires begin in mid-February.
