If You Love Classic Cars, Check Out The Saratoga Auto Auction This Weekend

It's no secret that I'm a big gearhead. I've had the opportunity to own several classic cars over the years, including a 1965 Chevrolet Impala SS, a 1971 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, a 1965 Jeep Gladiator and a 1956 Buick Skylark Convertible just to namedrop a few. I even tried to auction off my rare 1966 Olds Cutlass 330, 4 speed, but my reserve was set too high. Even though I didn't sell it I still had a blast at the auction.

This weekend is the Saratoga Auto Auction that takes place at SPAC September 20th and 21st. Hundreds of beautiful classics will be on display and auctioned off among the pines. The auction is to benefit the Saratoga Automobile Museum.

Now, even if you don't have the deep pockets to bid on one of these gleaming classics it's still fun and exciting to go and watch. You really get caught up in the excitement of the bidding and sometimes when gavel falls on the winning bid a cheer erupts that would rival a touchdown.
