If You Need A Job, DOT is Hiring

Just in time for the winter season, New York State Department of Transportation is hiring. See here.

In total, NYS DOT is looking to hire 470 people state wide. Some of these positions are actually only seasonal, but some are even permanent. And, as you know working for the state can be quite a great thing. The benefits are just so amazing.

Out of those 470 open positions, 70 of them will be available right here in the Capital Region.

Are you interested? Here are the qualifications.

You must be 18 years or older. Also you must pass a physical and a drug test as well. You need a clean and valid class A or B license. And finally, you must have the correct certifications to operate the DOT equipment. You have two weeks after the start of employment for this one. I can only assume this is something they train you on, don't hold me to that though.
