Is Suzie coming back? Stranger Things have happened.

Last week the latest teaser trailer for the fourth season of "Stranger Things" was released. It was cool and reminded me that I need to go back and watch season 3 again...because it was freakin' awesome.

If you forgot what happened last season here's a quick recap. After a huge battle at the local Hawkins Starcourt Mall, the heroes were split in the aftermath of the apparent death of Sheriff Jim Hopper (David Harbour) who was killed in an explosion as he attempted to prevent catastrophe in Hawkins and to save the residents.

Deeply affected by his death, several key characters chose to move away from their hometown, unable to bear the pain of remaining where he died.

One of everyone's favorite moments and new characters from Stranger Things Season 3 was the addition of Suzie (Gabriella Pizzolo), Dustin's girlfriend that he met at summer computer camp. Dustin said she was, "hotter than Phoebe Cates" and the rest of the kids were even sure if she actually existed. Well, she did and she saved the day and had one of the more memorable moments singing the theme song from "The Neverending Story" with Dustin. If you missed it or just needed to see it again, you can watch the entire thing below.

So, is Dustin's girlfriend Suzie returning for season 4? Well, nothing is confirmed yet, but there is a really interesting fan theory floating around on the internet. Suzie is actually a Russian spy that was put at the science camp to infiltrate the kid's friend group to get to Eleven. Actor Gaten Matarazzo, who plays Dustin Henderson even addressed the rumor in a recent interview and said that it would be “so funny” if it were to happen in the fourth season.

Fans are hoping that Niskayuna's Gabriella Pizzolo will return as Suzie for the fourth season, but we won't know until the new season drops sometime in 2022.
