New York Golfers Excited Fore New Course In Hamburg
The groundhog is calling for six more weeks of winter in New York State. We are used to the long, drawn out winters and although it can be depressing, there are so many good thing to look forward to this spring and summer. From Buffalo to Albany, this will be an exciting year.
The weather has been rather mild compared to other winters here in The Empire State. This may be a good sign for those who rely on the weather to get their jobs done or to make money. Golf courses for example, are hoping that spring can arrive early and they can welcome golfers again. This past year, people were on some courses as late as mid-December.
The staff at the Erie County Fair has some exciting news for families and those who love to golf. In a press release sent to us on Groundhog's Day, it was indicated that a new mini course is in the works.
Come and join the Erie County Fair's mini golf course design and
construction project, the new Erie County FAIRway that will debut at the 2024 Erie County Fair.
The Fair is going to be using the public's input for the design and there is a deadline for those interested in being a part of the new course concept.
The course will be featured at the 2024 Erie County Fair.
Applications will be reviewed by the Erie County Fair for approval. Once approved, we will reach out with more information. Material pickup will be April 9-12 at the Hamburg Fairgrounds. All submissions become property of the Erie County Agricultural Society.
