Buffalo’s Josh Allen Accuses Aaron Rodgers Of Cheating!
Buffalo Bills' quarterback Josh Allen and New York Jets' quarterback Aaron Rodgers will have plenty of opportunities to compete against each other this year in the loaded AFC East, beginning with their Monday Night Football match-up on September 11th. However, Allen wasn't waiting to begin the trash-talk with his new division rival.
On Wednesday, Miles Schachner reported on nypost.com, that the Bills' star-quarterback accused the Jets' new star-quarterback of cheating...not in football but in golf. Rodgers won the Pro-Am in the AT&T Pebble Beach Golf Tournament back in February. On Wednesday's addition of the “Pardon My Take” podcast, Allen questioned Rodgers' golf integrity.
“He did (cheat),” Allen said on the podcast. “I love Aaron, but he did. Not just me, (he sandbagged) the world. He may have gotten just seven or eight strokes too many at Pebble Beach. Or nine. Not from me, that’s what other sources are saying. I’m not saying that.” To which PFT Commenter of Barstool Sports quipped, “I think Aaron Rodgers should be in jail.” Allen jokingly agreed.
The new Jets quarterback hasn't been phased by his Buffalo rival's fairway trash-talk. He told nypost.com, “Josh Allen was telling me there’s going to be an asterisk by this win because there (were) only three rounds. But I think our names are going to be up there for a long time.” It should be a fun season watching these two continue their rivalry on the football field in the regular season and possibly the playoffs.
