Intern Mike: Fantasy Football comes with frustration, confusion, anger but for the ones who know their stuff, they get to enjoy some winning. If you want to win, here are some guys that I’ll be trying to get on my team, before it’s too late.

Jahmyr Gibbs, RB, DET
WK 1 @KC: 8.0 PPR Points
Statline: 7 Att 42 Yards, 2 Rec 18 Yards

For a guy who was drafted in the third round of most fantasy drafts, a measly 9 touches in the opening game of the season could be worrisome for those who took the chance on him. Gibbs looked absolutely electric when he was on the field, forcing six missed tackles on his seven carries. Lions' HC Dan Campbell also commented on Gibbs' low usage after the game saying “Now they’ve got that one under their belt, so for Gibbs, he’ll begin to get more touches now. So, that was just the beginning last night.” My guess is that this will be his last game under ten touches.

Rachaad White, RB, TB
WK 1 @MIN: 6.9 PPR Points
Statline: 17 Att 39 Yards, 2 Rec 10 Yards

An underwhelming Week 1 performance from White, but one where we can absolutely draw some positives from. White saw 79% of the offensive snaps and will be involved heavily in the pass game as the season progresses. Mayfield targeted his running backs with 19.1% of his throws last season, which ranked third in the league. White will be a PPR monster if he stays healthy and a great buy low candidate after his lackluster opening week.

Tee Higgins, WR, CIN
WK 1 @CLE: 0.0 PPR Points
Statline: 0 Rec 0 Yards, 8 Targets

A nightmarish start to the season not only for Higgins, but this entire Bengals offense. Higgins did not record a single catch on his 8 targets against the Browns, but my feeling is that he, along with this Bengals offense, will get right as soon as next weekend against a banged up Baltimore Ravens secondary. Higgins remains a high end WR2 for fantasy purposes.

Jaylen Waddle, WR, MIA
WK 1 @LAC: 11.8 PPR Points
Statline: 4 Rec 78 Yards, 5 Targets

Waddle doesn’t exactly fit the usual mold of these buy low candidates, and some Waddle owners may feel slightly disappointed after they saw Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill’s connection somehow grow stronger in their opener against the Chargers. Waddle is still the 1B option in an offense that is looking like it’s going to be incredibly reliant on the pass. Take the chance on Waddle’s upside going forward.

Christian Watson, WR, GB
WK 1 vs CHI: Inactive
Statline: DNP

I may be cheating a little bit here, as Watson was out with a hamstring injury in Green Bay's opener against Chicago, but an impatient manager can be looking to ship off the 2nd year receiver. Jordan Love and the Packers looked impressive on offense and with a banged up Packers receiving core, it will be Watson who stands out this season.
