'Christmas Vacation' star Chevy Chase, who has been spending time in Upstate New York filming a new Christmas movie, was recently soaking in the Spa City!

Is there a more legendary Christmas movie or character than Clark Griswold in 'National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation?' Of all of Chevy Chase's legendary acting turns, it is probably his most memorable role and one of the most quoted! So it is only fitting that Chevy is taking another acting turn in a new holiday- themed movie called the ' Christmas Letter' that has been filming in Utica.

Chevy Chase was in Utica, New York the weekend of January 20-21, 2024 to film scenes for"The Christmas Letter." The film's official Facebook page revealed some photos of Chevy Chase along with his daughter Caylee and other cast members filming scenes at Fort Schuyler Club. Check 'em out!

Chevy Chase Spends Weekend At The Adelphi Hotel In Saratoga Springs

Chevy was in Utica the weekend of January 20-21 to film his scenes, and it looks like that same weekend he also spent some time in the Spa City!

The Adelphi Hotel, one of the Capital Region's most historic and stunning hotels, played host to Chevy and his family. The photo below taken at the hotel was posted to Chevy's Instagram on January 22nd saying it was a "wonderful" weekend in Saratoga with his wife Jayni and daughter Caley, who also has an acting role in "The Christmas Letter."

While they spent some time in the Spa City, it also looks like they celebrated a birthday at the Adelphi!

Saratoga Springs has no shortage of celebrity sightings, and now we can add the legendary Chevy Chase to our list of recent celeb visits!
