Kansas Rocks Albany This June With A Free Concert

Q1057 and 1035, the Capital Region's Classic Rock Station is proud to announce the return of the Capital Concert Series at the Empire State Plaza in Albany presented by Miller Lite. Get ready for an evening of great Classic Rock hits with a free show by Kansas!

Let's get together, outside, under the stars to enjoy a free concert by Classic Rock legends Kansas. You know we will hear 'Carry On Wayward Son', 'Dust In the Wind', 'Point of No Return', 'Portrait (He Knew)' and so many more. What a great night!

Kansas will play a free show, on Wednesday June 24th at Empire State Plaza in Albany, part of the 2026 Capital Concert Series presented by Miller Lite. The music kicks off at 5pm with special guest Muscle Shoals followed by Kansas.

In addition to a night of great live music, enjoy cold drinks, and great food vendors. Parking for this event will be available in the visitors parking lot, Madison Avenue lot, Grand Street Surface lot, and Elk Street Surface lot. Explore more parking options HERE.

Kansas, featuring Richard Williams on guitar, drummer Phil Ehart, and vocalist Ronnie Platt, just announced their 2026 touring plans. Tour begins Thursday May 21st and wraps up November 14th in Pennsylvania. The Albany show is 1 of only two New York shows planned this year.

In addition to the Kansas show, there are a couple of other events planned for Empire State Plaza this summer including New York State's 4th of July Celebration featuring Sugar Ray.
