Local Musician Frank Palangi To Open Up For 3 Doors Down At The Egg
This year is only 10 days in and is already promising to be a memorable one in the way of local shows. It's also shaping up to be another successful one for local artist Frank Palangi, as he will be opening up for 3 Doors Down next month.
Frank will be taking the stage on Monday, February 17 at The Egg in Albany. He hails from Queensbury and has been becoming increasingly popular for the past few years. He has opened for many big acts including FUEL, Trapt, Young Guns, HURT and more. He was also the opening act at last year's Uproar Festival and Q-Ruption Festival. He can soon add 3 Doors Down to his bill.
He comments:
I've always loved 3 Doors Down! They are one of my influences from when I first started playing guitar and being able to share the stage with them is an honor. I'm very excited for this opportunity and can't wait to play the Egg. That's one of the places on my check list I've wanted hit up to play. See you there! \m/
Frank has so far released two EPs and will debut his 'Hope' single sometime this year.
Also in production is a brand-new single called “HOPE” coming in 2014 produced by Frank himself with Michael McManus (Saving Abel, 12 Stones) on drums. Song recording was at Chris Henderson's studio (3 Doors Down guitarist), Rivergate Studios, in TN.
Tickets for the show are $49.75, $59.75 and $79.75 and are available at all Ticketmaster locations, The Egg website and the Egg box office 473-1845. Doors are at 7 pm and Frank goes on at 8 pm.
Will you be attending the show?
